Sangha Activa – Sakya Thekchog Düde
Sangha Activa is a Buddhist-inspired project for personal development as well as a spiritual growth mandala. It is a space in which internal values are made visible thus helping all those who want to awaken them. It is a field of experimentation and practice where we can develop Buddhist philosophy and learn to promote the values that bring us closer to a stable happiness.
This personal growth project is embedded in the Vajrayana tradition of Tibetan Buddhism and linked to the Sakya lineage.
His Holiness Sakya Trizin as the spiritual head of the tradition has given his authorization and blessing to Ven. Lama Ngawang Dorje Dondrub who, exercising his role of spiritual guide, guides the individual and collective practice so that the project reaches the maximum of spiritual realizations.
The motor of Sangha Activa, as its name suggests, is the Sangha, a group of people who want to live according to the Buddhist philosophy, a community made up of active and committed people following the Mahayana ideal of the Bodhisattva. In its practice, the sangha focuses on the present and builds a totally visible and current project, a project of Buddhism in society and for society. The union between spirituality and practice is the application of the Dharma (path to happiness) by people (individuals, professionals and leaders) embedded in society and in all kinds of organizations, institutions and collectives.
The personal growth of the members of the community and the enlightenment of all sentient beings are the goals of the various activities in their four dimensions: meditation, philosophy, rituals and karma-yoga.
